Azimuth Airline and Astrakhan region sign Mutual Partnership Agreement
Within the framework of the forum of the Caspian Sea region countries, Mr. Igor Babushkin, Acting Governor of the Astrakhan Region, and Mr. Pavel Ekzhanov, Director General of the Azimuth Airline, signed an agreement on mutual cooperation.
The Parties agreed on development of regional flights with the cities of Russia, so flights to Krasnodar, Sochi and Mineralnie Vody will be added to the existing route from Astrakhan to Rostov-on-Don.
“For us, it is extremely important to have direct communication with the cities that we can reach without going through Moscow. We will develop a route network, and we have certain developed routes with the Azimuth Company” - said Mr. Igor Babushkin, the Head of the Astrakhan region.
“New directions of the Airline flights are the next stage in implementation of program for development of interregional air transportation, bypassing the Moscow air hub. Azimuth is also working on expanding the geography of international flights and plans to increase the number of foreign destinations in the second half of this year” - said Director General Mr. Pavel Ekzhanov at the forum.
