Rules for transportation passengers and luggage

Updated version, approved on March 17, 2026.

Scope.

These Rules for transportation of passengers and luggage by AZIMUTH Airline JSC (hereinafter, the Rules) are developed on the basis of Article 102 of the Air Code of the Russian Federation and the Federal Aviation Regulations 'General Rules for the Transportation of Passengers, Luggage, Cargoes and Requirements for the Servicing of Passengers, Consignors, Consignees' approved by the Decree of the Ministry of Transport of Russia on June 28, 2007 No 82, and are used to provide passengers with information about the rules and requirements of AZIMUTH Airline JSC for passengers during air transportation of passengers and luggage.

The rules are applied when carrying out domestic and international air transportation of passengers and luggage, the actual carrier for which is AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

These Rules establish the rights, duties and responsibilities of AZIMUTH Airline JSC, as well as citizens who use the services of AZIMUTH Airline JSC and are obligatory for them.

These Rules are an integral part of the Air carriage agreement.

When concluding an agreement for the air carriage of a passenger, the version of the Rules which is effective as of the date of issue of the transportation document is applied.

These rules, as well as other regulatory documents published in the development of these Rules, may be changed and amended by AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

1. Basic conditions for the air transportation.

Under the passenger air carriage agreement, AZIMUTH Airline JSC undertakes to transport a passenger of the aircraft to the destination point providing him/her with the seat in the aircraft making the flight indicated in the ticket, and in case of air transportation by the passenger of the luggage, this luggage shall also be delivered to the destination point and handed over to the passenger or the person authorized to receive the luggage.

Transportation carried out under the passenger air carriage agreement of AZIMUTH Airline JSC and other services provided by AZIMUTH Airline JSC are subject to:

  • conditions set forth in the ticket;
  • effective fares;
  • Present Rules conditions;
  • the Russian Federation legislation

The Air carriage agreement is certified by a ticket and the luggage receipt in the event a passenger carries a luggage.

The document confirming payment for air transportation is a payment document evidencing the fact of payment for air transportation.

The passenger is obliged to pay the carriage fee for air transportation at the established fare, and when handing over baggage in excess of the norm established by the AZIMUTH Airline JSC, for free luggage transportation, should pay for transportation of this luggage.

The Air carriage agreement is a public contract, and according to the method of its conclusion it is referred to the accession agreement and requires the passenger joining the Air carriage agreement on the conditions proposed by AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

The Air carriage agreement is considered to be concluded from the moment of proper and timely payment for air transportation.

After full payment for transportation, AZIMUTH Airline JSC issues to a passenger, or sends a passenger an itinerary receipt via e-mail.

Payment for the cost of transportation must be made within terms provided by the rules for the fares application of AZIMUTH Airline JSC, valid at the time of booking, via methods strictly specified by AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

The Air carriage agreement is valid until the time when AZIMUTH Airline JSC fulfills its obligations for the passenger air transportation and/or luggage en-route specified in the ticket, provided that the passenger fulfills his/her the obligations properly.

Booking and payment for transportation by the AZIMUTH Airline JSC flight testifies to the passenger's joining to the public contract of the Air carriage on the conditions set forth in the Rules. The consent of the passenger with the conditions of the Air carriage agreement and the Rules is complete and unconditional.

If the payment for transportation is made in a manner not provided by the relevant rules of AZIMUTH Airline JSC, or by an organization not authorized by AZIMUTH Airline JSC, the Air carriage agreement is considered not concluded, and AZIMUTH Airline JSC is not responsible for the consequences of such payment.

In case of the late payment or other violation of payment terms, the Air carriage agreement is considered not to be concluded unless AZIMUTH Airline JSC confirms otherwise.

The obligations of AZIMUTH Airline JSC for the air transportation of a passenger arise after proper and timely payment for the air transportation.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC carries out charter flights on a regular basis under a charter contract in accordance with the aircrafts flight schedule made by AZIMUTH Airline JSC and published in relevant databases. The customer of the flight is Eurasia Aviation Corporation, Aviation Corporation.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC undertakes to take all measures within its powers in order to transport the passenger and luggage within a reasonable time. The time specified in the timetable and other documents is not guaranteed and is neither an essential condition nor a part of the Air carriage agreement.

In case the aircrafts flight schedule is changed, AZIMUTH Airline JSC should take possible measures to inform passengers, with whom a passenger air carriage agreement has been concluded, about changing the schedule of aircraft movements by any available means.

JSC AZIMUTH Airlines has the right to cancel, delay the flight indicated in the ticket, change the type of aircraft, change the route of transportation, if this is necessary to comply with flight safety requirements (including to eliminate an aircraft malfunction that threatens the life or health of passengers due to unfavorable meteorological conditions) and (or) to comply with transport security requirements.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC is not liable for the passenger non-notification about the change in the flight schedule, changing the departure/arrival airport, canceling the flight or changing any other flight parameters in case the passenger did not provide his/her contact information (telephone number, address e-mail) when booking the air carriage, or the employees of AZIMUTH Airline JSC or its authorized agents were unable to contact the passenger at the specified contact information by contacting at least once for each of the said phones (addresses), including the case of provision the incorrect contact information by the passenger.

In these cases AZIMUTH Airline JSC does not compensate the passenger for losses caused by such non-notification.

If the passenger applies to AZIMUTH Airline JSC with notification on the agreement of special conditions of carriage provided for by item 25 of FAR-82 (Federal Air Rules), later than 36 hours before the flight departure, AZIMUTH Airline JSC reserves the right to refuse the conditions agreement.

Transportation of passengers and luggage is performed between the airports (points) of departure, transfer (stop) and destination (hereinafter - the transportation route) specified in the transportation document in the established sequence.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC is also not responsible for ensuring flights connection, if the transportation was documented by separate tickets.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC has the right to transfer its air transportation obligations under the agreement, or their part to another person, including another carrier. In this case, AZIMUTH Airline JSC informs the passenger about the actual carrier that carries out the transportation, and the Rules of transportation of the actual carrier will be applied to the passenger, unless otherwise provided by the agreement between AZIMUTH Airline JSC and the actual carrier.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC carries out the booking of transportation when the passenger provides his / her personal data in the volume stipulated by the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC performs processing of the passenger's personal data in accordance with the Federal Law dated July 27, 2006 No 152 'On Personal Data' (including when booking transportation, issuing a ticket, changing the conditions of transportation, voluntary / involuntary refusal of transportation, as well as after the termination of the air carriage agreement - at the request of authorized state authorities), which are provided by the passenger at the conclusion of the air carriage agreement.

The passenger can get acquainted with rules for the AZIMUTH Airline JSC fares application on the website of AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

2. Reservation of the air transportation.

Reservation of the air transportation of passengers and luggage is available for the passenger or a person authorized by him in the booking system of AZIMUTH Airline JSC (Internet site, information group) or at the ticket offices (booking offices) of authorized ticket agents.

The result of booking is the creation of an electronic record in the booking system of AZIMUTH Airline JSC with assigning him/her a unique number (PNR). For ticket issuance, the passenger provides data of a document proving his identity.

In case of registration of preferential transportation or transportation under a special fare, the passenger is obliged to submit his/her identification documents that confirm the right to a privilege or the application of a special fare. The passenger receives an issued ticket or a route/ e-ticket receipt immediately at the point of tickets sale or by e-mail specified at the time of booking for the purposes of independent printing out.

It is recommended that the itinerary receipt of the electronic ticket and the payment document be retained throughout the transportation.

The use of the ticket by a person not indicated in the ticket is prohibited, its value is not refunded to the bearer, and such person is not permitted for transportation.

2.1. Transportation of Children.

Children under the age of two, as well as disabled children under the age of twelve, may only be transported when accompanied by an adult passenger or a passenger who, in accordance with the civil law of the Russian Federation, has acquired full legal capacity before reaching the age of eighteen.

When issuing a ticket, children aged 0 to 2 will be automatically assigned to the first adult passenger listed in the Passenger Name Record (PNR). Infants may be assigned to another adult passenger listed in the PNR at no additional charge, if the passenger applies to an authorized agent, the airline's contact center (see Contacts section on the airline's website), or the airport check-in desk.

The age of a child will be set as of the day of transportation from the airport (location) of departure specified in the transportation document.

One child under two years of age may be transported with one accompanying passenger without being provided with a separate passenger seat, provided that the child under two years of age is seated together with the accompanying passenger in his or her passenger seat and flight safety requirements are met.

Children aged two to twelve may be transported either accompanied by an adult passenger or a passenger who, in accordance with the civil law of the Russian Federation, has acquired full legal capacity before reaching the age of eighteen, or unaccompanied under the carrier's supervision, if the carrier's policy provides for said kind of transportation.

Children over the age of twelve may be transported unaccompanied by an adult passenger or a passenger who, in accordance with the civil law of the Russian Federation, has acquired full legal capacity before reaching the age of eighteen.

Unaccompanied children aged between two and twelve years may be transported under the supervision of the carrier only after written application for unaccompanied minor transportation has been completed by parents, adoptive parents, guardians, or trustees in accordance with the carrier’s regulations. At the request of parents, adoptive parents, guardians, or trustees, carrier supervision may extend to children up to eighteen years of age.

For the service of transporting an unaccompanied child(ren) under the supervision of the carrier, the carrier may charge an additional fee.

The transportation of one infant, up to the age of two years, with one accompanying passenger without providing a separate seat is free of charge on domestic flights. On international flights, such transportation is provided at a discount of no less than 90% off the applicable fare.

The transportation of other children up to the age of two years with the same accompanying passenger is carried out with provision of separate seats for these children.

For infants up to two years old who are citizens of the Russian Federation, if the accompanying passenger requests a separate seat, as well as for children aged between two and twelve years old who are also citizens of the Russian Federation, traveling with an accompanying passenger, a 50% discount applies to the fare (excluding first-class and business-class fares). This discount does not apply to: domestic routes subsidized by the budgetary system of the Russian Federation; domestic routes where the fare has been set by the carrier and approved by the President of the Russian Federation or the Government of the Russian Federation; domestic routes where the fare has been determined by the Government of the Russian Federation in accordance with Part 2 of Article 13 of Federal Law No. 135-FZ "On Competition Protection" dated July 26, 2006.

The amount of the discount for transporting a child (children) is determined by the carrier for the following types of transportation:

  1. international transportation of a child (children) under two years of age, provided with a separate passenger seat(s);
  2. domestic transportation of a child (children) under two years of age who is (are) not a citizen(s) of the Russian Federation, provided with a separate passenger seat(s), as well as domestic transportation of a child (children) between the ages of two and twelve who is (are) not a citizen(s) of the Russian Federation;
  3. domestic transportation of a child (children) under two years of age who is (are) a citizen (citizens) of the Russian Federation, with the provision of a separate passenger seat (seats) at the rate for transportation in first class service on board an aircraft or the rate for transportation in business class service on board an aircraft, as well as on routes for which state support is provided from the budget of the corresponding level of the budget system of the Russian Federation, and (or) domestic transportation, the amount of payment for which is established by the carrier and agreed upon by the President of the Russian Federation or the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as domestic transportation, the amount of payment for which is determined by the Government of the Russian Federation in accordance with Part 2 of Article 13 of Federal Law No. 135-FZ of July 26, 2006 "On the Protection of Competition";
  4. domestic carriage of a child (children) aged two to twelve years who is (are) a citizen (citizens) of the Russian Federation, at the fare for carriage in first class service on board an aircraft or the fare for carriage in business class service on board an aircraft, as well as on routes for which state support is provided from the budget of the corresponding level of the budgetary system of the Russian Federation, and (or) domestic carriage, the amount of the fee for which is established by the carrier and approved by the President of the Russian Federation or the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as domestic carriage, the amount of the fee for which is determined by the Government of the Russian Federation in accordance with Part 2 of Article 13 of Federal Law No. 135-FZ of 26 July 2006 "On Protection of Competition";
  5. international carriage of a child (children) aged two to twelve years.

If the passenger who accompanies the child initiate or be forced to change the terms and conditions of the airline’s contract of carriage after the transportation starts, the child's ticket will be reissued (exchanged) at a rate corresponding to the child's age as of the day of transportation from the airport (location) of departure.

3. Sale of tickets and the payment procedure.

3.1. Handling the transportation.

When booking the transportation, the passenger, provides AZIMUTH Airline JSC with his/her personal data (name, surname, patronymic, date of birth, series and number of the ID), as well as a telephone number and/or e-mail address for communication with the passenger. In case of refusal to submit these details, booking does not occur. For booking it is necessary to coordinate with AZIMUTH Airline JSC the transportation of:

  • a passenger with a child up to two years;
  • a passenger on a stretcher, a seriously ill passenger who, for medical reasons, requires the use of an oxygen cylinder with gaseous oxygen (air) throughout the flight, accompanied by medical personnel. The order of transportation is made not later than 36 hours before the time of departure indicated in the schedule;
  • a tone-deaf passenger without an escort;
  • a blind passenger with a guide dog;
  • unaccompanied passenger, blind and/or tone-deaf, who will be transported under the supervision of the carrier;
  • a passenger whose ability to travel when using air transport is limited and/or whose condition requires special attention when servicing (a passenger with limited excursion);
  • wheelchairs, whose weight exceeds 32 kg (heavy luggage);
  • a passenger with weapons and/or ammunition;
  • a luggage, which must be transported only in the cabin of the aircraft;
  • a luggage, whose weight exceeds 32 kg, and luggage, whose one place dimensions in a packed condition exceed 203 cm as the sum of three measurements (oversized luggage);
  • domestic animals (dogs, cats, ferrets and birds).

When booking, a disabled passenger and other persons with disabilities must inform AZIMUTH Airline JSC or an agent of AZIMUTH Airline JSC, who performs the booking, sale and transportation paperwork, about their physical limitations in order to provide him/her with the appropriate conditions for air transportation.

A reservation is automatically cancelled without prior notice to the passenger if payment for air travel is not made within the timeframe established by AZIMUTH Airlines JSC and a ticket is not issued.

If a passenger fails to use a reserved seat on one segment of the route, the passenger must notify AZIMUTH Airlines JSC of their intention to continue travel on subsequent segments of the route before the end of check-in for the flight on which the passenger failed to use the seat.

If a passenger is late for check-in and baggage handling at the airport, or if a passenger is late for boarding the aircraft at the airport and notifies the carrier at the airport of their intention to continue carriage on subsequent flight segments no later than two hours after the departure of the flight for which the passenger was late and before the end of check-in for the next flight on the route, provided that the time from the departure of the flight for which the passenger was late to the departure of the flight on the subsequent flight segment is at least 24 hours and the conditions of carriage on the subsequent flight segments do not change, the reservation for the subsequent flight segments will remain valid.

If the passenger fails to notify the carrier of their intention to continue carriage on subsequent flight segments in accordance with the above conditions, AZIMUTH Airlines JSC reserves the right to cancel the reservation for each subsequent flight segment without prior notice to the passenger. A passenger's refusal to be transported on any section of the transport route is considered a change in the transport route and is carried out in the manner prescribed for a passenger to change the terms of the air carriage agreement.

3.2. Payment procedure.

A carriage charge is levied by an authorized agent or AZIMUTH Airline JSC for transportation of passengers and luggage by flights of AZIMUTH Airline JSC. The carriage charge is determined on the basis of the amount established by AZIMUTH Airline JSC for the transportation of a passenger between two points of the transportation route (hereinafter referred to as fares) or a combination of fares from the airport (point) from which the passenger, luggage transportation starts according to the passenger air carriage agreement (hereinafter, the airport (the point of departure) to the airport (point) to which the passenger, luggage is to be transported, in accordance with the Air carriage agreement (hereinafter referred to as the airport (the point of destination)), fees and, in case additional services are ordered by the passenger – the cost of these services, established by AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

The carriage charge is indicated in the transportation document.

When paying for the carriage of a passenger and his/her luggage, the fares applicable at the date of carriage commencement are applied.

If before the start of transportation, fares are changed by AZIMUTH Airline JSC, passengers are transported according tickets issued before fare changes, without recalculation, provided that the original terms of the air carriage contract are preserved.

In case the passenger changes the conditions of the passenger air carriage agreement (hereinafter - voluntary change of the passenger air carriage agreement by the passenger) before the commencement of carriage, the carriage charge shall be determined on the basis of fares effective at the date of the commencement of a new air transportation.

If the passenger voluntarily changes the terms of the air carriage agreement after the commencement of carriage, the calculation is carried out in accordance with the conditions of the airline's fares application. Additional fees (if required) must be paid simultaneously with payment for the booked transportation.

The following methods of payment for transportation are allowed in AZIMUTH Airline JSC:

  • by non-cash payments (including using payment cards);
  • payment in cash at the booking office of the authorized agent.

The itinerary receipt (an extract from the automated information system for air transportation processing) of the electronic air ticket is the confirmation of the fact of payment for transportation.

It is allowed to pay the carriage fee by a person who is not a passenger.

In case of incorrect ticket issuance due to mistakes made by the carrier (authorized agent), charging the passenger for operations to change the terms of the air carriage contract of the passenger when issuing a new ticket to the passenger instead of the incorrectly issued ticket is not allowed.

In case of incorrect ticket execution due to mistakes made by the passenger when entering information by the passenger during booking, it is allowed to charge the carrier (authorized agent) from the passenger a fee for operations to change the terms of the air carriage contract of the passenger.

4. The passenger documents.

4.1. The ticket is not transferable for use by another person.

A passenger is allowed to flight, whose surname and details of the identity document coincide with the data specified in the air ticket.

A ticket for a flight of AZIMUTH Airline JSC is issued only against the data of a valid identity document of a passenger:

  • the passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation or the document substituting it;
  • a regular international passport;
  • an identity card of a serviceman, a military registration card (for military personnel undergoing compulsory military service, contract-based, or alternative service);
  • birth certificate (for persons under the age of 14 years);
  • national passport (for foreign countries citizens);
  • certificate for persons without citizenship;
  • permanent resident card.

In order to establish the identity when registering for a flight, the passenger is required to produce an identity document whose details are indicated on the air ticket, and he/she is also recommended to have an itinerary receipt. Passengers and luggage check-in is made on the basis of a ticket and passenger identification document, according to which a ticket was issued, as well as other documents provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation, if necessary.

An electronic ticket (itinerary receipt) is a proof for the conclusion of an air carriage agreement between the passenger and AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

4.2. The ticket validity.

The ticket is valid for transportation of the passenger and his/her luggage from the point of departure to the destination point along the route and the class of service indicated therein.

The place and date of the ticket issuance should be indicated in the itinerary receipt. A ticket issued according to a normal (full) or special fare is valid for the carriage of the passenger and his/her luggage within the time limits established by the rules of this fare application established by AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

A passenger is allowed to be transported only with a valid ticket duly issued by AZIMUTH Airline JSC, an authorized agent of AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

4.3. Other documents of the passenger.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC is not liable to the passenger in case the passenger does not receive documents or visas or does not comply with the requirements of the applicable laws.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC has the right to refuse transportation to a passenger who has not complied with the applicable laws, or has not properly executed the documents (including the case when the visa, money, a return ticket, etc. are not available) or he/she refused to show them.

5. Termination and the change of the air carriage agreement.

5.1. Refusal of the passenger from air transportation.

The passenger has the right to refuse the flight in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the legislation of the Russian Federation. If the passenger intends to refuse the flight, the passenger or their authorized representative is obliged to notify JSC “AZIMUTH Airline” about unilateral termination of the transportation contract by one of the following methods:

  • for transportation arranged on the JSC “AZIMUTH Airline” website:
    • performing the procedure for returning the air ticket through the automated system on the official website of JSC “AZIMUTH Airline” https://azimuth.ru in the “Order Search” service;
    • contacting the Contact Center via email infoavia@azimuth.ru;
    • visiting an authorized agent office of JSC “AZIMUTH Airline” with presentation of identity documents and representative’s authority to act on behalf of the passenger for cancellation of seats in the reservation system, followed by contacting the Contact Center by email infoavia@azimuth.ru to process the refund of funds paid for transportation;
  • for transportation arranged through the agency network:
    • contacting the place of ticket purchase with simultaneous implementation of the procedure for returning the air ticket;
    • visiting any authorized agent office of JSC “AZIMUTH Airline” with presentation of identity documents and representative’s authority to act on behalf of the passenger for cancellation of seats in the reservation system, followed by contacting the agency where the ticket was purchased to process the refund of funds paid for transportation.

If it is impossible for the passenger (authorized representative) to request a refund for unused transportation at the place of payment, the issue of refund is considered by JSC “AZIMUTH Airline” through a claims procedure.

6. Repayment of money.

6.1. The procedure for the return of a carriage charge to a passenger in the event of termination of the air carriage agreement.

The procedure for refunding a passenger's fare in the event of termination of an air carriage agreement due to the passenger's voluntary cancellation of carriage is determined in accordance with the Terms of Application of the Fare selected by the passenger when issuing the air ticket, the Air Code of the Russian Federation, the Federal Aviation Rules "General Rules for the Air Carriage of Passengers, Baggage, and Cargo and Requirements for Service of Passengers, Shippers, and Consignees" (hereinafter referred to as the "General Rules"), approved by Order No. 82 of the Ministry of Transport of Russia dated June 28, 2007, and the "Procedure for Collecting Fees for Regular Air Carriage of Passengers and Baggage, Calculated Based on Tariffs and Charges," approved by Order No. 386 of the Ministry of Transport of Russia dated October 31, 2024.

Procedure for calculating the amount of money subject to refund in the event of termination of a passenger air carriage agreement, except in cases of involuntary cancellation of carriage by the passenger:

In the event of termination of a passenger air carriage agreement that provides for a refund of the carriage fee upon termination of the passenger air carriage agreement, and the carrier is notified thereof before the end of the passenger check-in time for the flight specified in the ticket (except in cases of involuntary cancellation of carriage by the passenger):

a) if the passenger cancels the entire carriage, if carriage was not performed on any segment of the carriage route, the carrier or, on its instructions, the carrier's agent shall refund:

  • the fare(s) applied to calculate the cost of carriage;
  • foreign government charges, fuel surcharge, transport security fee, and airport terminal (airport) provision fee;

b) If a passenger cancels a portion of the transportation, the carrier, or the carrier's agent on its behalf, shall refund:

  • the difference between the applicable fare(s) and the fare(s) for the used segment(s) of the transportation route, the cost of which is calculated in accordance with paragraph 41 of "The procedure for Collecting Fees for Regular Air Carriage of Passengers and Baggage, Calculated Based on Tariffs and Charges", approved by Order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia No. 386 dated October 31, 2024;
  • foreign government charges, fuel surcharges, transport security fees, and fees for providing an airport terminal (airport) on unused segments of the transportation route;

c) If a passenger cancels the entire transportation, if transportation was not performed on any segment of the transportation route, or a portion of the transportation:

  • the carrier, or the carrier's agent on its behalf, shall withhold a fee for refund transactions, a fee for the provision of automated booking system services, a fee for issuing a ticket, a fee for issuing a miscellaneous charges order, a fee for issuing an electronic multipurpose document, and a fee for issuing a receipt for payment of excess baggage;
  • the carrier, or the carrier's agent on its behalf, shall charge the passenger a penalty in accordance with the carrier's rules.

The cost of the used section(s) of the transportation route is calculated using the tariff(s) applicable to the corresponding carrier service class, which was in effect on the commencement date of transportation when the transportation document was issued.

If, when calculating the cost of the used section(s) of the transportation route, the difference between the amount paid for transportation and the applicable tariff(s) for the used section(s) of the transportation route is negative, no refund will be made for the transportation fee.

In the event of termination of a passenger air carriage agreement that includes a non-refundable condition for carriage upon termination of the passenger air carriage agreement, and if the carrier is notified thereof before the end of the passenger check-in time for the flight specified in the ticket (except in the event of an involuntary cancellation of all or part of the carriage by the passenger), the following will not be refunded:

  • the fare(s) applied to calculate the cost of carriage;
  • foreign government charges, excluding foreign government charges on unused segments of the carriage route, fuel surcharges, transport security charges, airport terminal (airport) provision charges, automated reservation system service charges, ticket issuance charges, miscellaneous charges order charges, electronic multipurpose document charges, and excess baggage receipt charges.

If the passenger's air carriage agreement is terminated and the passenger notifies the carrier thereof after the end of the passenger check-in time for the flight specified in the ticket (except in the event of a passenger's involuntary cancellation of all or part of the carriage), the following are non-refundable:

  • the fare(s) applied to calculate the cost of carriage;
  • foreign government fees, fuel surcharges, transport security fees, and airport terminal fees.

If the passenger's air transportation fee is paid by another person in accordance with paragraph 36 of the General Rules, the refund of the passenger's air transportation fee in the event of the passenger's refusal to travel is made to the person who made the payment based on the passenger's identification document and the document confirming the payment made by that person.

6.2. Penalty in connection with voluntary refusal of the passenger from entire transportation or from a part of transportation.

Penalty in connection with the voluntary refusal of the passenger from the entire transportation or from its part is charged in the manner prescribed by the Fare conditions chosen by the passenger when issuing the ticket and in accordance with the Fare conditions chosen by the passenger when issuing the ticket.

6.3. The procedure for calculating the amount of money subject to refund when changing a passenger's air carriage agreement, with the exception of involuntary changes to the terms of the passenger's air carriage agreement:

In the event of an involuntary change to the terms of the passenger's air carriage agreement by a passenger, no additional payment will be charged.

If the carrier substitutes an aircraft with enhanced comfort cabins for an aircraft without enhanced comfort cabins, or if the aircraft's configuration is changed, the carrier, or the carrier's agent on the carrier's instructions, will refund the passenger the difference between the fare and fee paid and the fare and fee for the class of service in which the carriage was actually performed.

If the carrier involuntarily places the passenger in a cabin of a higher class of service than the one the passenger paid for, the carrier, or the carrier's agent on the carrier's instructions, will not charge the passenger any additional payment.

If the carrier has established different fares and charges for two or more types of aircraft operated by the same carrier on a route, no additional charge will be collected from passengers when the aircraft type is changed by the carrier or by the carrier's agent on its behalf.

If the fare and/or charge indicated on the ticket is higher than the fare and/or charge at which carriage is actually performed, the carrier or by the carrier's agent on its behalf will refund the difference between the fare and/or charge indicated on the ticket and the fare and/or charge at which carriage was actually performed.

If a passenger changes the terms of the passenger air carriage agreement, except for an involuntary change to the terms of the passenger air carriage agreement, the amount refunded by the carrier or by the carrier's agent on its behalf to the passenger, or collected from the passenger by the carrier or by the carrier's agent on its behalf, shall be determined as the difference between the amount paid for carriage and the cost of carriage with the changed terms.

If a passenger changes the terms of the air carriage agreement, with the exception of an involuntary change, before the commencement of carriage, the cost of carriage is calculated based on the rates and charges in effect on the commencement date of the new carriage on the day the passenger amends the terms of the air carriage agreement.

If a passenger changes the terms of the air carriage agreement, with the exception of an involuntary change, after the commencement of carriage, the cost of carriage is calculated based on the rates and charges in effect on the commencement date of the original air carriage agreement.

If a passenger changes the terms of the passenger air carriage agreement, with the exception of an involuntary change to the terms of the passenger air carriage agreement due to the passenger being late for passenger check-in and baggage check-in at the airport, or due to the passenger being late for boarding the aircraft at the airport and the passenger notifying the carrier at the airport of their intention to continue carriage on subsequent segments of the carriage route no later than two hours after the departure of the flight for which the passenger was late and before the end of passenger check-in for the next flight along the carriage route, provided that the time from the departure of the flight for which the passenger was late until the departure of the flight on the subsequent segment of the carriage route is at least 24 hours, and the terms of carriage on the subsequent segments of the carriage route do not change:

  • the fare paid for the carriage by air is not refunded, and subsequent changes to the terms of carriage will not be made;
  • no additional charge will be charged to the passenger for carriage on subsequent segments of the carriage route;
  • the passenger will be charged a fee for transactions involving changes to the terms of the agreement.

In the event of a change by a passenger of the terms of the passenger air carriage agreement, with the exception of a forced change of the terms of the passenger air carriage agreement, the carrier or, on its instructions, the carrier's agent shall withhold from the passenger a fee for the operations to change the terms of the agreement.

6.4. The procedure for calculating the amount subject to refund in the event of termination of a passenger air carriage agreement due to the passenger's involuntary cancellation of all or part of the carriage.

A passenger's involuntary cancellation of carriage is considered to be a cancellation in the following cases:

  • cancellation or delay of the flight indicated on the ticket; more than thirty minutes after the departure time indicated on the ticket; flight departure before the departure time indicated on the ticket;
  • change of the transportation route by the carrier;
  • failure to dispatch the passenger due to the inability to provide them with a seat on the flight and date indicated on the ticket;
  • failure to transport the passenger on an aircraft due to the passenger's delay at the airport due to the length of their security screening, if no substances or items prohibited for carriage were found during the baggage or personal search of the passenger;
  • failure of the carrier to provide a connecting flight in the case of a single transportation;
  • illness of the passenger or a member of their immediate family or close relative traveling with them on the aircraft, as confirmed by medical documents, or death of a member of their immediate family or close relative, as confirmed by documents, provided that the carrier is notified thereof before the end of the passenger check-in time for the flight specified in the ticket, as established in accordance with paragraph 81 of the General Rules;
  • failure to provide the passenger with service in the class of service specified in the ticket;
  • incorrect issuance of the ticket by the carrier or authorized agent.

In the event of termination of the passenger's air carriage agreement due to the passenger's involuntary cancellation of carriage, the entire amount paid for carriage will be refunded if carriage was not performed on any segment.

In the event of termination of the passenger's air carriage agreement due to the passenger's involuntary cancellation of a portion of the carriage, the amount for the unperformed portion of the carriage will be refunded. The cost of the unperformed portion of the carriage in the event of a fare component cancellation will be calculated based on the applicable fare.

6.5. The procedure for calculating the carriage charge in case of a forced change in the conditions of the passenger air carriage agreement.

If there is a forced change in the conditions of the passenger air carriage agreement, no extra fee should be charged. When the AZIMUTH Airline JSC replaces an aircraft with luxury passenger cabins with an aircraft that does not have cabins of enhanced comfort, or when the arrangement of the aircraft is changed, the passenger is returned the difference between the paid fare and the fare of the service class that was actually available during the transportation.

In the event AZIMUTH Airline JSC is forced to place the passenger in the cabin of the higher service class than the one the passenger has paid for, no additional fee is charged.

6.6. The procedure for payment in case of refusal to carry luggage that is subject to additional payment.

In case of refusal to transport luggage, which is subject to additional payment, the luggage fare for unused part of the transportation route is refunded.

Fees are not charged for the refusal of luggage carriage subject to additional charging.

7. The Luggage. The norm of free luggage allowance.

7.1. All luggage carried by the passenger, including luggage in the cabin, should be presented at check-in for the flight, which is due to the flight safety requirements.

The luggage of the passenger, which is accepted for transportation by AZIMUTH Airline JSC is marked with a luggage tag and transported in the luggage compartment of the aircraft, and is called 'the registered luggage'. The registered luggage is handed over to the bearer of the luggage tag – a document issued by AZIMUTH Airline JSC exclusively for the identification of the registered luggage. From the time the registered luggage is handed over for carriage to the time of luggage dispensing, the passenger's access to luggage is prohibited, except for cases of identification or additional inspection by the relevant services. AZIMUTH Airline JSC has the right to check the weight and dimensions of luggage carried by the passenger at the airport of his/her landing and/or at the airport of destination. If it is determined that the passenger is carrying luggage in excess of the established free rate or in excess of the amount specified in the luggage receipt, without appropriate payment for this carriage, the passenger is obliged to pay the cost of the unpaid part of the luggage.

7.2. Responsibility for the safety of hand luggage.

Responsibility for the safety of hand luggage (luggage 'In the cabin') is born by the passenger. The allowed amount of luggage 'In the cabin' is 5 / 10 kg per 1 seat - for passengers of economy class. The dimensions of one piece of luggage in the cabin: the length should not exceed 55 cm, the width should not exceed 40 cm, the height should not exceed 20 cm.

Above the established norm of free luggage allowance and without being charged the passenger also has the right to carry the following things if they are with the passenger and not put in the luggage:

  • A backpack weighing no more than 5 kg and not exceeding the following dimensions: depth — 10 cm, width — 30 cm, height — 40 cm, or a handbag, or briefcase with items placed inside the backpack, bag, or briefcase;
  • A bouquet of flowers with dimensions allowing safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat;
  • Outer garments used by the passenger;
  • Baby food for the duration of the flight;
  • A suit in a foldable garment bag;
  • Child carrier device, including baby cot, restraint systems (devices) for children under two years, baby stroller, dimensions of which are established by the carrier’s regulations and allow safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat;
  • Medications for medical use, dietary food in the amount required for the duration of the flight;
  • Crutches, folding wheelchair, support cane, tactile cane, folding walkers, including folding rollatorwalkers, upper and lower limb prosthetics in packaging used by passengers with disabilities and other persons with disabilities to compensate or eliminate persistent activity limitations, and having dimensions allowing safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat;
  • Products intended for prosthetic care of upper and lower limbs in packaging used by passengers with disabilities and other persons with disabilities to compensate or eliminate persistent activity limitations, and having dimensions allowing safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat;
  • Goods purchased in duty-free shops at the airport, as well as in the airport’s transport security zone, provided for in the fourth subparagraph of subclause 9 of clause 6 of the requirements for ensuring transport security, including requirements for anti-terrorist protection of facilities (territories), taking into account security levels for various categories of transport infrastructure facilities of air transport, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1605 dated October 5, 2020, packed in a sealed plastic bag, the weight and dimensions of which are established by the carrier’s regulations and allow safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat.

For checking compliance with hand baggage and personal items size regulations, dimension measuring devices (calibrators) installed in the passenger registration area and boarding gate are used. Hand baggage and personal items must fit freely, without effort, into the calibrator, including wheels, pockets, handles, and other fittings.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC is not liable for hand luggage and personal belongings carried by a passenger in the aircraft cabin. In the event of an interruption of the flight specified in the transportation document, the passenger, when passengers unloading from the aircraft, must take with him/her the hand luggage and personal belongings placed with him/her in the cabin.

7.3. Requirements for the contents of luggage/hand luggage.

At airports located in the territory of the Russian Federation, there are restrictions on the carriage of liquids, gels and aerosols in the air passengers' hand luggage. This restriction applies to water and other drinks, soups, syrups; creams, lotions and oils; perfume; sprays; gels, including gels for hair and for the shower; contents of cans, including shaving foam, other foams and deodorants; pastes, including dental; mixtures of liquid and solid substances; mascara; any other similar substances. Passengers are allowed to carry the listed substances on board aircraft, provided that they are packed in containers whose volume does not exceed 100 ml. At the same time, these containers should be placed in a transparent plastic bag with a volume of no more than 1 liter, and each passenger is allowed to carry only one such bag as hand luggage. These packages must be equipped with a special zip fastener.

In volumes larger than the specified ones, the following is permitted to carry as hand luggage: baby food required by the child during the flight; the medicine necessary during the flight (however, during the inspection, the passenger should be aware that he/she will be asked to prove the necessity of these articles and substances during the flight).

Items that do not meet these requirements shall not be accepted for carriage.

It is allowed to buy drinks and perfume in duty-free shops located at airports, after registering for a flight, passport control and pre-flight inspection. Any liquids and gels purchased must be packed and sealed in the store. The seal is valid for 24 hours. Liquids purchased at the airport shops shall be packed in a securely sealed plastic bag ensuring the identification of access to the contents of the package during the flight, which has a reliable evidence that this purchase was made at the airport shops on the day(s) of the trip.

The following items (personal belongings) are permitted for transportation:

  • a medical thermometer – one per passenger;
  • a mercury tonometer in a standard case – one per passenger;
  • a barometer or mercury manometer, packed in a tight container and sealed with the sealing of a sender;
  • non-refillable lighters – one per passenger;
  • dry ice for cooling perishable products – no more than 2 kg per passenger;
  • 3% hydrogen peroxide – not more than 100 ml per passenger;
  • liquids, gels and aerosols classified as non-hazardous in containers of not more than 100 ml (or equivalent volume in other volume units) packed in a securely closed transparent plastic bag with volume of no more than 1 liter – one package per passenger.

The following hazardous substances and articles are forbidden for shipping on board aircraft by passengers in the registered luggage and things carried by passengers:

  • explosives, fireworks, signal rockets;
  • pressurized containers and aerosols, for example, self-defense sprays, tourist gas balloons, compressed gases, butane, oxygen, propane and scuba cylinders;
  • containers containing flammable liquids, such as lighter fuel, paint, varnish, cleaning agents;
  • flammable liquids and solids, gasoline for lighters and furnaces, paint and all kinds of matches;
  • substances emitting highly inflammable gases when contacting water;
  • oxidizers, for example, bleaching powders, peroxides;
  • poisonous (toxic) substances, such as mercury, as well as containers with bacterial or viral cultures;
  • adioactive materials and articles;
  • corrosion-active substances, such as acids, alkali, accumulators on liquid elements;
  • materials with strong magnetic properties;
  • any equipment and tools that contain even minimal amounts of fuel (for example, for testing purposes);
  • electric shock weapons.

It is forbidden to transport small-sized means for personal transportation as registered luggage and hand luggage (mono-wheels, segways/mini-segways, hoverboards, self-balance scooters) operating on lithium batteries.

It is permitted to carry on board the following items and substances in the registered luggage in cargo, luggage compartments of the aircraft with restricted passengers' access to luggage during the flight under condition of passengers complying with the required conditions:

  • household knives (scissors) with blade length (edges) over 60 mm;
  • alcoholic beverages with alcohol content of more than 24% but not exceeding 70% alcoholic content by volume in containers with volume not exceeding 5 liters, in containers intended for retail sale – not more than 5 liters per passenger;
  • liquids and alcoholic beverages not exceeding 24% alcoholic content by volume;
  • aerosols intended for use in sports or domestic purposes, whose discharge valves are protected by caps from spontaneous release of contents, in containers with volume not exceeding 0.5 kg or 500 ml – not more than 2 kg or 2 liters per passenger.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC has the right to make decisions as to introduction of additional measures to ensure aviation security on flights with increased danger level, thereby prohibiting the carriage of the following items into the aircraft cabin:

  • corkscrews;
  • needles for hypodermic injections (unless a medical report proving the necessity of their application during the flight is presented);
  • knitting needles;
  • scissors with edge length of less than 60 mm;
  • travel folding (without a holder) knives, penknives with a blade length of less than 60 mm.

7.4. Combining the luggage of two and more passengers.

If passengers are traveling together with the same purpose, to the same airport of destination or stop, by the same flight (family members, persons traveling together or traveling on a business trip), then at the request of the passengers, the sum of all passengers norms (in terms of the number of seats and by weight) of free registered luggage allowance for each passenger is allowed to be applied to the luggage of these passengers (it is not applied to the transport of weapons and ammunition). In the case of combining the free luggage allowance by weight, one piece of luggage must not exceed 32 kg by weight and a total of three measurements of 203 cm, the total number of combined luggage spaces should not exceed the amount of free luggage allowance specified in tickets for each of the passengers. The combining refers to the norms of free luggage allowance only. The luggage is processed for each passenger individually. The luggage of the passengers, traveling as a group, is processed individually for each passenger with the entry of data into the luggage receipt of each particular passenger. To process the combined baggage, passengers must apply to the check-in counter simultaneously.

7.5. The norms of transport for registered free luggage.

The rate of registered free luggage is 1 place for weight up to 23 kg, the sum of three measurements should not exceed 203 cm. AZIMUTH Airline JSC has the right to set exceptions to the standard conditions of free baggage allowance for specific directions with the passenger's notification when booking the transportation.

Information on the norms of free luggage allowance is also brought to the passengers when processing the carriage at the place of its registration. When checking-in for a flight, the wheeled chair of a passenger with physical limitations is processed as a registered luggage, transported in the luggage compartment and handed over in the luggage claim area.

The passenger is given the opportunity to transport his/her own mechanical folding chair with manual control in the cabin of the aircraft in the presence of conditions for its safe placement.

8. The Luggage. Excess luggage.

8.1. Excess luggage.

Transportation of all types of excess luggage is carried out in case the aircraft has a relevant technical capability. The passenger is obliged to pay for the carriage of his/her luggage that exceeds the norm of free luggage allowance, according to the fares indicated on the official website of AZIMUTH Airline JSC. If these conditions are not complied with, the excess luggage is not carried. AZIMUTH Airline JSC has the right to impose a ban on the transportation of luggage in excess of the norm for specific directions with passenger's notification when booking and processing the transportation.

Excess baggage charges do not apply to the transportation of:

  • Guide dogs accompanying visually impaired passengers, wheelchairs, crutches, support canes, tactile canes, walkers, including rollator walkers, as well as upper and lower limb prosthetics in packaging used by passengers with disabilities to compensate or eliminate persistent activity limitations, having dimensions not allowing safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat, and transported without additional charge;
  • Products intended for prosthetic care of upper and lower limbs used by passengers with disabilities to compensate or eliminate persistent activity limitations in packaging, having dimensions not allowing safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat, and transported without additional charge;
  • Baby strollers used by passengers, having dimensions not allowing safe placement in the aircraft cabin on the baggage rack or under the seat of the forward passenger seat, and transported without additional charge.

8.2. Transportation of special non-standard luggage.

If the passenger intends to carry a non-standard and heavy or oversized luggage, whose one place weight exceeds 32 kg but not more than 50 kg and/or the size of one place as the sum of three measurements exceeds 203 cm, then its transportation should be coordinated with AZIMUTH Airline JSC no later than 36 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight, the transportation being carried out providing the aircraft has technical capability. Conditions for carrying non-standard luggage are indicated on the website of AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

8.2.1. Animals transported in the cabin.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC accepts cats, dogs, birds and other indoor (tamed) animals, as well as service dogs of the police dog service of federal executive bodies for transportation as a special type of non-standard luggage with payment according to special luggage fares (regardless of the presence of other things the of the passenger transported as a luggage). A guide dog accompanying a visually impaired passenger is transported for free.

Pets (room tamed animals, birds) are accepted for transportation only with the accompaniment of adult passengers and with the prior consent of AZIMUTH Airline JSC. The guide dog can accompany a child over 12 years old.

When transporting pets (indoor tamed animals, birds), the passenger is obliged to provide the necessary documents stipulated by legislation of the Russian Federation.

Pets (indoor tamed animals, birds) during transportation shall be placed in a container (cage), providing necessary amenities for transportation, with air access and reliable lock (locking device). The bottom of the container (cage).

The weight of a pet (pet), a container (cage) and food intended for feeding a pet (bird) is not included in the free luggage allowance and is paid by the passenger in accordance with the special luggage rate established by AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

When transporting an animal/bird in a passenger cabin, several animals of the same species may be kept in the same container. The weight of the container with the animal/bird should not exceed 8 kg. The passenger can carry only one container in the passenger cabin. The size of a container (rigid) or a carrying bag for transportation an animal/bird in the cabin of the aircraft should not exceed 115 cm as the sum of three measurements. During the flight, it is prohibited to remove the animal from the container in the passenger cabin.

Sick and experimental animals whose air transportation is forbidden by the legislation of the Russian Federation, are not allowed for transportation by air transport as luggage, as well as reptiles, rodents, insects, fish and fish planting material, sea and river animals requiring transportation in water, as well as dogs, Related to brachycephalous breeds:

  • English Bulldog, French Bulldog, American Bulldog, Pug, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Boxer, Belgian Griffon, Brussels Griffon, Boston Terrier, dogue de Bordeaux, Japanese Chin.

A dog-guide accompanying a passenger with vision impairment and a dog of the police dog service of the federal executive body shall not be subject to the breed-based restrictions. The guide dog and dog of the police dog service of the federal executive bodies are accepted for transportation only with a muzzle, a collar and leash. When registering a guide dog for a flight, the passenger must present a document on his/her disability and a document on the dog's training, for the dog of the police dog service of the federal executive body, the passenger must show a document confirming the special training of the dog and a document that the passenger is an officer of the federal executive body police dog service. Passengers carrying a dog in a passenger cabin without a container are provided with places at the end of the passenger cabin (except for places near emergency exits). During the flight, the dog must be placed within the passenger seat area of the passenger it accompanies, be tied at his/her feet, should not interfere with standard service procedures, ease itself on board and threaten the hygienic state of the passenger cabin. Within the entire flight duration, the dog should wear a muzzle and a collar. Passengers with pets are prohibited from placing in the emergency exits area, near kitchens and toilets. Pets shall not be placed in the passenger area of other passengers and in the aircraft passages. Acceptance of pets (birds) for transportation is performed provided that the passenger assumes all responsibility for them until the time of departure of the flight indicated in the schedule. AZIMUTH Airline JSC is not responsible for bodily injuries, diseases or death of such animals and birds.

8.2.2. Luggage carried in the passenger seat.

The luggage that requires special transportation conditions (for example, valuable, fragile articles) can be accepted for carriage in the passenger cabin of the aircraft if:

  • the passenger has previously agreed this service with AZIMUTH Airline JSC;
  • luggage was subject to a special inspection for aviation security using technical means of examination.

If such luggage is large, the passenger must pay an additional seat at the passenger fare (the excess luggage fee is not charged in this case). The weight of such luggage cannot exceed 80 kg, and its dimensions should not exceed the dimensions of the passenger seat. Such luggage should be placed in the chair by the window and fixed with a seat belt.

The luggage that requires special transportation conditions and is carried in the passenger cabin of the aircraft is not subject to check-in. The passenger is responsible for its integrity and safety.

The luggage transported in the passenger cabin of the aircraft must be packed in such a way as to exclude damage to the aircraft cabin equipment during its transportation.

Delivery of luggage transported in the aircraft cabin, its lifting, arrangement in the cabin, removal from the aircraft and delivery from the aircraft is made by the passenger carrying this luggage.

8.2.3. Musical instruments.

Transportation of musical instruments is carried out both in the luggage compartment and in the passenger cabin. When transporting musical instruments in the passenger cabin, the rules for luggage transportation carried in the passenger seat are applied.

8.2.4. Transportation of wheeled chairs or other auxiliary means with an electric drive.

The airline accepts motorized wheelchairs or similar vehicles powered by lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries on board its flights.

PLEASE NOTE:
The battery may be denied on board if the passenger does not have a package for its transportation.

Motorized wheelchair with easily detachable Li-ion battery pack.

Easily detachable Li-ion batteries must be dismantled, the live parts protected against short circuits and carried as hand luggage in the passenger cabin. Spare Li-ion batteries may be carried as follows:

  • one with a capacity not exceeding 300Wh;
  • two with a capacity not exceeding 160Wh.

When transporting a wheelchair together with a Li-ion battery in checked baggage:

  • the battery terminals must be disconnected;
  • electrical connections must be insulated against short circuits;
  • make sure that the battery is securely fastened in the vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE:
The passenger must be prepared to answer questions about the actual weight of the wheelchair, type and capacity of the battery.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. The passenger must arrive at the airport of departure reasonably in advance to go through check-in formalities for the flight;
  2. The passenger must have a set of key wrenches/tools for disconnecting the battery terminals, packaging for the battery as required by the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (ICAO Doc/9284-AN/905) and written instructions for mounting/dismounting the battery;
  3. If the battery is removable, the passenger must provide, at the airport, a transport package that would prevent damage to the battery and is labeled as dangerous baggage.

The battery must be removed at the airport if:

  • the battery contains liquid electrolyte;
  • the Li-ion battery module is easily detachable;
  • the design of the wheelchair or other vehicle requires a specific transportation position (e.g. folded) for its delivery to the place of loading.

For a dismantled battery containing liquid electrolyte to be allowed on board, the passenger must provide, at the airport, a package that:

  • is durable, rigid and waterproof;
  • allows the battery to be placed in an upright position;
  • contains absorbent material in an amount capable of absorbing all the electrolyte in case of leakage.

8.2.5. Fragile luggage and luggage, in respect of which the company declares limitation of its liability.

This category includes fragile luggage packed in ways that do not ensure its integrity or safety, as well as luggage whose packaging is damaged. This luggage category is accepted for transportation provided that AZIMUTH Airline JSC is not responsible for the contents or packaging integrity. When checking-in such luggage a mark about the damage to the luggage before its check-in can be made on the part of the luggage tag that is handed to the passenger by the employee of AZIMUTH Airline JSC. The mark is certified by the passenger's signature.

9. Check-in.

For the transportation of passengers and luggage AZIMUTH Airline JSC provides passenger check-in and luggage registration.

Passengers can check in online at the official AZIMUTH Airlines website. Online check-in allows you to obtain your boarding pass in several ways: collect your printed boarding pass at the airport before check-in closes, print your boarding pass at home, use a mobile boarding pass where available at your departure airport.

The passenger must arrive in advance, no later than the end of the check-in time, to the passenger check-in and luggage processing place in order to undergo the established procedures for check in and luggage processing, payment of excess luggage and (or) other luggage payable, inspection, etc. (hereinafter pre-flight formalities) and meeting the requirements related to sanitary-quarantine, veterinary, quarantine phytosanitary types of control provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as to the place of boarding the aircraft.

Passengers check-in and luggage processing for flights at the airport starts two hours before the time of departure and ends 40 minutes before the time of departure of the aircraft according to the schedule of transportation, unless otherwise provided for individual flights of AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

Passengers and luggage check-in are made on the basis of a ticket and passenger identification document, according to which a ticket was issued, as well as other documents provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation, if necessary.

The boarding pass shall contain the passenger’s initials and surname, flight number, departure date, boarding deadline, and seat number onboard the aircraft. Additional transportation-related information may be included in the boarding pass.

The boarding gate number must be indicated on the boarding pass if it has been determined by the servicing organization at the time of issuing the boarding pass to the passenger.

If the boarding gate number has not been determined at the time of issuing the boarding pass to the passenger, the airport must provide passengers with both audio and visual information regarding the boarding gate number prior to the commencement of passenger boarding onto the aircraft.

If necessary, the boarding pass may additionally include other information.

When checking-in passengers and processing the luggage, the passenger must present all the luggage intended for carriage, in addition to the things specified in 7.2 of these Rules (personal belongings of the passenger) for weighing.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC or the service organization is obliged to indicate in the luggage receipt the number of places and the gross weight (hereinafter - the weight) of the luggage, except for the things specified in paragraph 7.2. of these Rules and/or place information on the luggage acceptance for transportation, the number of seats and the luggage weight, except for the things specified in paragraph 7.2. of these Rules, in electronic form in the automated system of passenger check-in and luggage processing.

When processing the luggage, the passenger is given a part (a tear-off coupon) of the luggage tag number, and the other part is attached to each luggage piece accepted for transportation under the responsibility of AZIMUTH Airline JSC who is in charge of the things safety from the time they are handed over by the passenger to the moment of dispensing to the passenger (registered luggage).

After the passenger check-in and the luggage processing, the responsibility for the safety of the registered luggage is assigned to AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

For luggage transportation in excess of the established rate of free luggage allowance, other luggage payable, a fee is charged according to the fare established by AZIMUTH Airline JSC. Payment for the carriage of such luggage is performed via miscellaneous charges order.

A passenger who has been late by the time of the passenger check-in closure and luggage check-in may be refused transportation by this flight. AZIMUTH Airline JSC is not liable for losses incurred by the passenger due to the late arrival of the passenger for check-in procedure.

JSC «AZIMUTH Airlines» provides adjacent passenger seats onboard the aircraft for children under twelve years of age and their accompanying passenger.

Adjacent passenger seats onboard the aircraft are defined as passenger seats located directly next to each other in the same row, not separated by an aisle. In cases where the number of passengers exceeds the number of such adjacent seats, these may include seats in the same row separated by an aisle and/or seats in adjacent rows located immediately in front of or behind.

Adjacent passenger seats are provided to children under twelve years of age and their accompanying passenger in accordance with the class of service onboard the aircraft and while complying with flight safety requirements.

If a passenger traveling with a child (children) under twelve years of age enters into an air passenger transportation agreement after the commencement of flight check-in and there are no available adjacent passenger seats at the time of check-in, the carrier is obliged to provide the passenger and the child (children) under twelve years of age traveling with them with other available passenger seats.

No additional charge shall be applied for providing adjacent passenger seats or other available passenger seats to a child (children) under twelve years of age and their accompanying passenger during check-in.

In cases where a child under twelve years of age is traveling with more than one passenger, such passengers have the right to choose the accompanying passenger who should be provided with an adjacent seat to the child under twelve years of age.

When transporting children under twelve years of age with more than one passenger, such passengers have the right to:

  • choose the accompanying passenger who should be provided with an adjacent seat to the children under twelve years of age;
  • choose a separate accompanying passenger for each child under twelve years of age, who should be provided with an adjacent seat to the child.

9.1. Boarding.

The passenger must arrive at the boarding gate no later than the boarding deadline for the flight indicated in the boarding pass. Passenger boarding on board aircraft is performed upon presentation of the boarding pass for the corresponding flight.

Passengers needing assistance in boarding (patients, persons with limited mobility), as well as persons requiring special control (deported, not allowed into the country, etc.), are invited to boarding first, before the boarding of the other passengers.

During the boarding, the passenger's luggage 'To the cabin', and hand luggage causing doubt due to their dimensions, can be additionally checked (hand luggage can be checked using a special metering gate) by an employee of AZIMUTH Airline JSC or a handling agent. In case the passenger exceeds the established norms of carrying 'Into the cabin' luggage, hand luggage, the employee of AZIMUTH Airline JSC or a handling agent registers such luggage, hand luggage in the established procedure and transfers it to the luggage compartment.

A passenger, who has been late by the time of the boarding closure, may be refused transportation by this flight. The luggage of a registered passenger who has not arrived for boarding is subject to removal from the aircraft and compulsory examination.

Passengers are seated in the cabin according to the seats indicated on their boarding passes. In accordance with the airline's policy, vacant seats in the cabin are not available for transfer.

9.2. The standard of on-board service for passengers of AZIMUTH Airline JSC.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC provides the passenger with a set of services on board aircraft depending on the duration of its flight, the time of day during which the flight takes place, and the class of service specified in the transportation document.

AZIMUTH Airline JSC, depending on the duration of the flight, provides the passenger with the following services:

  • information and reference services;
  • individual service;
  • beverage and/or food service.

Smoking on board aircraft is strictly prohibited, including smoking electronic cigarettes.

During the flight, passengers are offered drinks, light hot meals or hot meals (breakfast or lunch), depending on the duration of the flight.

Meals on scheduled flights of AZIMUTH Airline JSC:

Meals on charter flights are provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement concluded between AZIMUTH Airline JSC and the customer of the flight.

10. The transport security requirements.

In accordance with the legislation on transport safety, passengers in an aircraft and at air transport ground infrastructure facilities are obliged:

  • to pass through the transport safety zone (aircraft, air transport ground infrastructure facilities) in accordance with the examination additional examination and repeated examination rules established for ensuring transport security, observations and/or interviews;
  • to comply with the requirements of transport security service personnel associated with the performance of their official duties;
  • inform the transport security service personnel of events or actions that pose a threat to transport security;
  • follow the rules of conduct on board the aircraft listed in the "Transport and Aviation Safety" section of the website.

Passengers flying an aircraft are prohibited from:

  • carrying articles and substances, prohibited or restricted for carriage on board of an aircraft, to the transportation security area;
  • interfering with the operation of technical means of transportation security in the transportation security area (on an aircraft and ground-based air transport infrastructure facilities);
  • taking material articles from other (unauthorized) persons for their transportation on board of an aircraft without notifying the transport security service personnel about it;
  • performing actions that interfere with the operation of technical means and personnel of the aircraft, including the messaging of knowingly false reports of events or actions that endanger the aircraft safety, as well as actions aimed at damage (theft) of aircraft elements that could lead them into a state unfit for further operation or a condition that threatens the life or health of passengers, personnel of transport infrastructure facilities, transportation security service personnel and other persons;
  • transfer to third parties documents granting the right to undergo a special inspection procedure to enter the transportation security area;
  • to pass into the area of transportation security of the aircraft, air transport ground infrastructure facilities outside (bypassing) the established passages;
  • taking actions that imitate the commission or preparation for the commission of acts of unlawful interference with air transport operations on an aircraft and ground-based air transport infrastructure facilities.

11. Final provisions.

These Rules can be changed by AZIMUTH Airline JSC without prior notification of passengers. However, if the carriage is paid, then such changes to this transportation are not applied.

Changes and amendments to the Rules are executed as a new version of the document.
