SMS Notification
Terms and Conditions of Service Provision
JSC AZIMUTH Airlines offers its passengers the SMS Notification service. The service involves provision of the passengers with the short SMS messages to the mobile phone number specified when booking an air ticket. Currently, the service package includes SMS messages about the following flight events:
- Start of online check-in for a flight.
- Start of check-in for a flight.
- Assignment of a boarding gate, gate number.
- Message about a change in the boarding gate with a new number, if the boarding gate has been changed.
- Start of boarding.
The service can be ordered and paid for both together with the booking and payment for an electronic air ticket, and separately in the Order Search online service. The SMS Notification service is provided on all flights, except for the flights departing from Vnukovo Airport, on the segment of transportation for which it has been issued.
The cost of the SMS Notification service is from 95 roubles * including VAT.
* When paying online on the website of JSC AZIMUTH Airlines with a non-rouble bank card, currency conversion is carried out automatically at the rates of the issuing bank that issued the card.
Confirmation of payment for the SMS Notification service is EMD and electronic receipt of the processing system sent to the passenger’s e-mail.
The service is considered to be rendered from the moment the Airlines sends the first SMS message to the phone number specified by the passenger when booking. Notifications about the boarding gate number, change of boarding gate number are additional notifications that are provided if technically possible. The absence of notifications about the boarding gate number and change of boarding gate number is not a reason why the service may be considered to be not rendered. The amount of SMS messages may vary depending on the actions the passenger takes with the booking including its cancellation.
Attention!
The SMS Notification service does not include informing of passengers about such flight failures as flight delays and/or cancellations.
The Airlines is not responsible for an incorrectly specified phone number when issuing an air ticket, or for the absence of or problems with communication.
A full refund of the service cost can be made in the event of the forced or voluntary refusal of the service and/or transportation by the passenger not less than 12 hours before the flight departure and if the service is not considered to be rendered.
Refunds are made to the passenger upon contacting the Airlines Contact Center at infoavia@azimuth.ru with the mandatory provision of:
- a scanned copy of the refund application written in free form,
- a scanned copy of the passenger’s identity document,
- a scanned copy of the notarized power of attorney (if the application is filled out by a passenger’s representative).
The funds to be refunded are transferred within 5-7 business days to the issuing bank that issued the card used to pay for the service. The period for crediting funds to the bank card account depends on the issuing bank.
