Azimuth Airline took part in business meeting with official delegation of the Republic of Armenia in Rostov-on-Don

The purpose of visit is development of air communication between the Republic of Armenia and the south of Russia. The program began with Platov International Airport visiting. Chairman of the board of directors of Rostovaeroinvest PJSC Mr. Jivan Vartanyan acquainted guests with the Azimuth’s basic air-harbor; the guests were especially interested in organizing of passengers servicing arriving / departing to the countries of the customs union, which includes Armenia.

Business meeting of delegation members headed by the Chairman of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Tatevik Revazyan with the Minister of Transport Mr. Andrei Ivanov and the Head of Southern Directorate of Rosaviatsiya Mr. Viacheslav Onufrienko and the management of Azimuth Airline took place on the first day of visit. Participants of the meeting noted interest in development of air traffic between Russia and Armenia, among the issues discussed at the meeting, were the increase in the number of flights of Azimuth Airlines on the route Rostov-on-Don - Yerevan.

"Armenia comes to the advanced positions in terms of tourism and economic relations," said Mr. Tatevik Revazyan, Chairman of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Armenia. "Our main mission is to discuss prospects for expanding the partnership with the Rostov region, reduce air transport costs in order to stabilize prices and increase the availability of flights to our welcoming country.
