Azimuth Airline performed its first flights for the Rostov-on-Don - Nizhny Novgorod - Perm and back route on November 2, 2018.
The departure airports’ check-in was held in a festive atmosphere. Mikhail Popov, the Co-chairman of the regional headquarters of the All-Russia People’s Front in Rostov Region and a frequent traveler, occurred to be the first buyer of the ticket for the flight from Rostov-on-Don to Perm. Upon the certificate provision for a free flight through the carrier’s route network, Mikhail told the reporters that he had been waiting for this flight launch and that he had been the first buyer of the ticket not by coincidence.
The new flight launch from the Perm airport was held with the participation of Sultan Maratovich Dzharmukhanov, the Managing Director of the Perm airport, and Pavel Aleksandrovich Ekzhanov, the Azimuth Airline’s Director General. Upon congratulating Zlata Romanova, the first passenger and the first buyer of the ticket to Nizhny Novgorod, a ceremonial ribbon cutting symbolizing the first flight check-in launch took place.
Then, some representatives of the airline and the airport together with the reporters hurried to the platform to meet the Azimuth Airline’s airliner, where the first passengers aboard arrived from Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don. Having captured a significant event, the reporters had an opportunity to talk with the airlines’ heads right on board the modern Sukhoi Superjet 100 airliner.
