Azimuth Airlines reminds about the rules of entry to Israel

Azimuth Airlines reminds passengers about the current rules of entry to Israel. The Embassy of Israel in Russia recommends to check the passport validity period, there must be at least six months before the expiration of the passport. Citizens of Russian Federation do not need a visa to enter Israel. Citizens of other states should clarify the need and procedure for obtaining a visa at Israeli Embassy.

Passengers are also advised to carry:

• The tickets with entry and exit dates;
• Medical insurance policy for the provision of services abroad;
• Confirmation of hotel booking (if the purpose of the trip is tourism);
• Letter from a medical institution (if the purpose of the trip is treatment);
• Documents confirming solvency;
• An invitation received in the original or by fax or e-mail (if the purpose of the trip is to visit Israeli relatives, friends or organizations);
• A copy of the identity card of the invitee.

The PCR test and compliance with quarantine remain are still required. Citizens of other states entering Israel must pass a PCR test 72 hours before crossing the border and pass second PCR test after arriving, as well as observe quarantine until they receive a negative result of a PCR test done in Israel, or within 24 hours, whichever comes first.

The final decision on the entry permit of a person into the territory of a foreign State is made by the border services and other competent authorities of the State of entry when crossing the state border.
