Electronic visa for a flight to Russia is available to be applied by the citizens of 55 countries

Azimuth Airlines informs about the possibility of obtaining an electronic visa for a trip to Russia. In accordance with the decision of the President of the Russian Federation No. PR-1402 dated 15.07.2023, from August 1, 2023, the citizens of 55 countries can apply for a single electronic visa to travel to Russia. The list of countries whose citizens can apply for a single-entry electronic visa to Russia is available online. The validity period of a single electronic visa is 60 days from the date of its issuance. The permitted period of stay in the Russian Federation on a single electronic visa within its validity period is no more than 16 days from the date of entry. The deadline for issuing a single electronic visa is no more than 4 calendar days from the date of application submission. Confirmation of the purpose of the trip is not required. Foreign citizens staying in the Russian Federation on electronic visas are required to have a medical insurance policy valid on the territory of the Russian Federation for the entire period of stay, with the exception of citizens of foreign states exempt from this requirement on the basis of reciprocity.
