Traveling to Russia became Visa-Free for Saudi Citizens

We are pleased to inform you that since 11 May 2026, the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Mutual Abolition of Visa Requirements, signed on 1 December 2025, has entered into force.

Under the terms of this Agreement, citizens of the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are now entitled to enter each other's territories without obtaining visas for tourism, business, or private purposes. The maximum permitted stay under this visa-free regime is up to 90 days, either continuously or cumulatively, within a calendar year.

Please note that the visa exemption does not apply to travel related to employment, educational pursuits, or long-term residence. Additionally, visas remain required for pilgrimages associated with Hajj and Umrah during the designated pilgrimage periods.
